After Academy - Guild Wars Forums

after the academy this is th real town i guess is it possible to go back to the pre or no
some of my guild members are still in pre, so if im able to how, and where in the world do i get stuff for the crafter to make a ele/ranger armor i need some before i start.

no you cant

go out and explore and kill stuff and do missions

i hope you took the advice and have 2 professions and at least level 5 or more before the academy and all the free skills for them you could get

remember you start over when it is retail

how can i get crafted armor in the real city peolpe have been saying to get crafted armor and i go to the crafter and he doesn't say nothing about armor.

you need raw materials for crafting which will drop or use a regular salvage kit at the start

bows give wood planks swords iron ingoes etc

the id kit at the start is mostly a waste of money

check out rhe armor compendium on front page

possibly thr armorer or weaponsmith

example for ranger the first upgrade to level 5 armor is

Leather Set

Level 5

5 Pieces: Boots, Vest, Gloves, Leggings, Mask
Armor: 35AL +20AL vs. Elemental Attacks
Cost: 7 Hides, 1 Bolt of Cloth, 21 Gold

well mt charcter is a level5 ele/ran and i dont know how to upgrade my armor.

for a ranger primary you gather the materials listed in the above example and pay him to craft the armor for you

you could be level 20 and still be wearing starter armor

you dont go i am level 5 click an upgrade my armor button and poof it happens

maybe in other games but not here

and i am stuck with orange red and purple dyes

thank god for dye remover

You get your items craafted by the Crafter. The Weaponsmith upgrades your weapon. Not sure what the armorer does. Haven't seen one yet.
